Our Story
Founded in 2013, The Groovement Project Dance Company offers dance classes in Plymouth and has grown into one of the UK’s most active and successful dance studios. Located in the heart of Plymouth City Centre, we offer over 40 weekly dance and performing arts classes for ages 4 and up. From casual drop-in sessions to elite-level training for aspiring professionals.

At GPDC, we measure success in more than just trophies — although we’ve won plenty of those too. Named the SHC Top Scoring Dance School in the UK (2023–2024), our dancers consistently win national titles and perform at iconic venues like the O2 Arena, LA’s Universal Studios, and more.
Through our GPDC Agency, our performers have landed professional roles in film, TV, theatre, and music videos — from the West End and UK tours to Disney films and hit shows on BBC and ITV. Their journeys are a testament to what happens when talent meets opportunity, support, and world-class training.
